Annie Purdy’s graduate collection Ramblers investigates the intersection of utility, nostalgia, and sustainability in footwear. Drawing from the traditions of British walking culture and outdoor craft, the collection transforms discarded materials into imaginative hiking silhouettes.
Merging recycled rubber, foam, and textile offcuts, Ramblers celebrates the imperfect beauty of repair and resourcefulness. Featured in Hypebeast’s Graduate Series, the work marked Annie’s first exploration into creative reuse and set the foundation for her ongoing dialogue between footwear, environment, and emotion.
